Community Garden Initiative

Our 13-acre site has ample space to address the lack of fresh food availability in South Victoria, Texas.

Our Goals for the Community Garden

Our community garden is more than just a place to grow fruits and vegetables—it’s a vibrant hub for health, learning, and connection. Through initiatives like farmers’ markets, mobile markets, and shared gardening spaces, we aim to increase access to nutritious, fresh produce for everyone. Beyond providing healthy food, the garden fosters well-being by encouraging active lifestyles and creating opportunities for neighbors to bond and support one another. Additionally, it offers valuable training in food production, business management, and planning, empowering volunteers and residents with skills that can open doors to economic opportunities. Together, we’re cultivating a healthier, stronger, and more connected community.
